Back In THE BRONX - The way it was!

Then & Now

207th Street Bridge

Looking eastward from 10th Avenue in Manhattan, one could see the 207th Street Bridge and the dome of New York University, now Bronx Community College, in the Bronx. The Miramar Swimming Pool was a popular summer attraction in the 1930’s for Bronxites living in the northwestern part of the borough. The pool closed in the 1960’s and has since been replaced by a supermarket.
